Located in Ulladulla and Batemans Bay on the South Coast, Hales Douglass, a proactive Chartered Accounting firm, is seeking an experienced Taxation Accountant / Consultant.
Hales Douglass has been serving the NSW South Coast business community for over 30 years. We need a strong manager with tax and business skills to assist the growth of our practice.
The successful applicant will ultimately manage our Batemans Bay office. You will have access to excellent ongoing training and support, a challenging and interesting work environment and will enjoy the benefits that this lifestyle has to offer.
Remuneration is negotiable and will be set according to experience and skills.
Essential Skills
Excellent tax skills including detailed knowledge of income tax, capital gains tax, GST and income tax structures.
Ability to research and seek out solutions or add to discussion / forums on tax matters.
Experience with tax administration and tax rulings system.
Working knowledge of Corporations Law, superannuation, FBT and workers compensation.
Demonstrated leadership skills / experience and ability to work on own initiative.
Demonstrated ability in relation to client management.
Excellent computer skills and experience in the use of Microsoft products.
Ability to draft correspondence to a high standard.
Able to add value and work within a team.
Preferred Skills
Experience with MYOB. Quicken and Banklink.
Experience with AE Tax and Viztopia.
Specialist skills in a business / industry.
Skills in selling professional services.
